Spiritus York - What Am I Giving Up for Easter?

Calling all Young Adults in the York Region (ages 19–39)! You’re invited to our next Spiritus York Ministry Night on Wednesday, April 30, at St. Mark’s Parish in Stouffville!

The evening will begin with a talk by Rev. Fr. Brenton Cordeiro CC, on “What Should I Give Up for Easter?"

St. John Paul II once said, “We are an Easter people.” Through the Resurrection of Jesus, we are offered a new life—and a new way of living. As we move beyond the season of Lent, this talk invites us to reflect: How can we truly live as Easter people? What should we let go of, and how do we embrace the freedom of a new life in Christ? As St. Paul reminds us: “You must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus” (Romans 6:11).

After the talk, we will have small groups, followed by Eucharistic Adoration, with a guided meditation by Fr. Brenton.
